why i love Christmas mornings

Since my grandma died a couple of years ago our family never had celebrated Christmas as festive as we ever did when she was around, its not anything that we have planned but its just that mutual feeling of not being in the mood to celebrate or just not having any more positive atmosphere floating in the air. since then we never put up a tree or anything obviously symbolic for the holidays. This year's more particular as nobody ever did prepare anything (food) for last night , and i mean 'nothing at all (for xmas eve) .last year i remembered i cooked roasted chicken and pork but slept immediately afterwards.after the youngsters opened their gifts. although we dint find the strength to prepare chow, last night was fun and the spirit of xmas prevailed  via the kids ( after all Christmas used to be for the youth and the young at heart), the most generous Christmas ive ever seen, everybody had a gift for some one. and we ate ice cream. but this morning i like most. we ate altogether and i get to sample that controversial ham that my aunt went to manila (quiapo-if i remember correctly) its the ever famous "excellente" ham and woooooh so good!,  my aunt said trying to buy this ham was like worldwarII and it took her 3 hours waiting for her turn to be served together with the dozens of people in line trying to grab a peice of this meat (pale bigger cuts is the American  ham and the smaller darker cuts is called Chinese ham plus the good  old queso de bola) mmmm, i can still taste it on my memories hahahahaah.... was worth it especially when all i did was sit my ass at home and wait for my peice hahahaha peace auntie, and happy holidays to all of yah xoxo
