REVIEW and swatch: Ever Bilena pro lipsticks w/ shimmer ROSETTE AND BERRY ROSE made in china

bough these at 7/11 (php135.00/usd$3.50) and the berry rose caught my attention first, well because of its bright blue pink hue and i swear i almost dropped my slurpeee-bought it instantly even if it was the tester (it was out of stock)

i though i share this pretty find to you dear gals, if your looking for something like mac st germain or pink friday..... here you go.. i think berry rose is a close color match

l/p is full size 3.8g, has a balm in the lipstick center , glossy finish-made in china
lipstick has an identical quality as nyx's and lasts around 2-3hrs, it does not last that long compared to mac though the colors are fab-i suggest a lipstick sealant or top coat if u want it to stay longer,

price: ill give it 9 stars
quality:5stars
packaging:10 stars

REVIEW AND SWATCH: NYC LIPSTICK PENCIL IN 372A HEAVENLY

I think pink and nudes will never ever go out of style. ive been wearing very light pinks and nudes religiously and this shade is a commodity in my train case which made me purchase this pen (got mine online at $3.50 shipped)

New York Color products have always been in my kits for more than 10 years now. My aunts usually sends me and my sister beauty stuff and i usually get this brand and i have been a fan of it eversince. i love their lip products and blushes especially the lip glosses. this particular jumbo pens are my latest faves, though the brand is very affordable the grade of these are awesome. this glides like butter on my lips and its very long lasting and intensely hued. although im dark skinned and this shade is very milky and might be hard to wear applying lots of gloss over it will complete any smokey eye look.

ill rate this 9/10 just because i need to sharpen (if thats a valid rant) :p otherwise its a 10

price ranges from $2-4

REVIEW AND SWATCH: Three Custom Color Specialists Creme Concealer

shades 8 and 7

First of i would like to emphasize the finish of this concealer, it has a natural sheen. if you have read my review of the eyeshadows then it will be easier for you to follow this post, however i will make it as clear as possible so that you wont have to fuzz about reading another blog post just to get what i want to tell ya :)

let me start of with the size, the compact container is very small and is around an inch and a half in diameter approx., im unsure of the weight of the product itself as it does not say on the compact nor on the website but im guessing it will be around 3-5grams of product. pretty small yeah but dont be fooled by its size Goliath! just a smear of this will cover your darkest (facial) secret, i have attached a picture of my arm with and without the product, picture was intentionally left enlarged so u can say hi to my lovely pores and hair follicles :D just to show you the coverage, i used 1/8 of a pea size product only. look pls, even my hair disappeared.

this is a light weight full coverage concealer got this on clearance sale at Beauty bar Eastwood City Libis. at 600php or usd$18 bought only 2 together with 5 of their eye shadows. bought it just because it was my shade match and almost regret buying it for the price i paid until i got home and tried it...then i realized it was cheap because of the quality (and yes i dont consider it as an impulse buy anymore because of its concealing power) The next day i went to Beauty bar Gateway cubao and checked if they had some more in stock and yes they did dear sisters they did have some left, same thing i bough the only 2pcs left. a week later i couldnt get myself to sleep tight knowing that there are other branches of Beauty bar that "MAY" still have some stocks left and finally got my last 3pcs form Greenbelt Makati.

i have been consuming these products (7pcs all in all) for the last 5yrs now and i only got two pcs left and trying to use it as minimal as possible because i dont know when ill be able to get them again asides online. this is the product that i would rate 10 stars, excellent consistency, fabulous full coverage and definitely economical as one pot last for almost a year wherein id normally consume 1 regular brand concealer a month. again i got these at a clearance sale so im still a lucky girl

price is US$22.50 per pc at the website

LEFT TO RIGHT:
WARM MIDNIGHT,WARM MEADOW,WARM SAGE,COOL MARIGOLD,COOL BLACK

I first heard about this brand way back in college when my bff Paris came rushing to our house one day and the first thing she told me was about this clearance sale at beauty bar and it included dark foundations. to my shock as i never ever had a good chance of finding my shade match in this country, i came rushing down to Eastwood City with my sister and wow my eyes wanted to fall out of my skull in delight. i ignored these eyeshadows because i was eyeing the foundations and creme concealers but they only had a few stocks left (stupid lady said it was discontinued turned out  it wasnt discontinued) i bought every stock left of that foundation concealers in that store branch to stock up for the future (well there was only 2 left). meanwhile i just picked a few eyecolors (5) and these were the ones i got. after i came home and tried them i just cant believe how good these are, so pigmented and though its powder, it glides so smoothly more like cream.

At the time i was already into cosmetics but never did i have knowledge of branding and pricing etc.i dint even know what mac was lol, ill say these are better. a pot of these baby lasts for years and years and i used these everyday ever since i started working and doing freelance make up services and as u can see in the pics above i havent even touched a fraction of each pan (except for the black which fell and had broken into a million pieces, the sage fell too but i manage to keep it intact by pressing.)

The color pay off is excellent, long lasting and very very pigmented, pics above shows the shades and was swatched by itself dry and without any sort of primers, use wet and the intensity of these are way way better and yes better than mac pigments ive tried so far, especially the matte ones still glides like cream on my skin. i love the the sage one in the middle, the marigold i often use as nose eyes highlighter its the most sheer out of the bunch and the most  economical to use as a little goes a long way. I will repurchase these if i had the chance why not, but shipping costs an arm and a leg if i get it shipped from France, hope the brand will relaunch here in manila ill be the happiest girl :D

price on the wesite is US$23.00 each

lovely i got them only for  400php each or US$10.00 i guess im lucky that day

REVIEW AND SWATCHES: MAYBELLINE FIT ME

I ordered this set of mini testers of maybelline fit me foundation from if im right....texas usa. got this way back in july and was sitting in my stash waiting for me to do a review on them. well here its is...

the texture is creamy and not so runny, its not pasty like aswell. as i applied it at the back of my hand i noticed that the coverage is good and build-able. its not in your face straight full coverage, but u can work it out or make it easier by using a concealer instead of trying to conceal everything with this product in one go.

the finish is very dewy, which scared me because the minute it sets on my skin i knew right then that it will be a fail if used by itself for my oily skin, though there are tons of finishing veils, powders, mattifiers, primers and alike-out there to solve the problem. well if u were to ask me, if the shine is the issue it can be a plus for dry skin, and for women whose blessed with smooth and flawless skin this will be great otherwise powder ur nose my dear. this foundie is also great if i will be aiming for dewy and bronzed sun kissed effect as it already catches alot of reflection by itself so therefor minimal highlighting products is needed :)

as for myself, i primarily look for matte finish products, because im oily, blemished, and i constantly have small pimple bumps on my face on a regular basis so dewy finish foundation i normally stay away from unless i want those craters on my face be the star of the day. but it always depends, sometimes even if its not a matte product but the product is so good that i will just go an extra mile by blotting my face or powdering my face which will eventually happen anyway coz im oily errrrrr..soooo....

this product i give a 6/10 star rating just because im oily otherwise the pricing is fair enough and the packaging is cute and posh (talking about the full size packaging) pricing ranges from place to place i saw it at amazon ranging from 20$ pack of 2's.

THAT SWEETEST THING

The world’s sweetest mango is produced in the island

province of Guimaras Philippines, and thats the reason

this pastry is so special :D

so yummy!!!!!!!!!!!!!

butterscotch cake with mango chips

topped with cashew nuts

fresh from the gardens of the Trappist monks of Guimaras these goodies

are sold to support their monastery

The 48th chapter of the Rule of St. Benedict states

"for then are they monks in truth, if they live by the work of their hands"

Following this rule, most Trappist monasteries produce goods which are sold to provide income for the monastery. The goods produced range from cheese, bread and other foodstuffs to clothing and coffins. As the order does not require abstention from alcohol, some monasteries produce and sell alcoholic beverages.
