these are a bunch of liners which sparked a controversy on a thread ive read under temptalia's review of the same product, im a liner fan myself and i love colors and ofcourse this is a cheap product so its just perfect for everybody to try as a whole.

reviews are opinions and every single working brain has one and we shall all be entitled to at least one expression.i have a lot to say and this review will be as pure as anyone's opinion and i shall respect yours too.these are not sponsored items and was purchased with my own hard earned money.

reading through reviews online i hav bumped to one of cristine of temptalia.i am one of her avid readers and not so long ago i have become one of her subscribers in youtube. she has been reviewing products from years back and has been a household name (yes including my household) when it comes to beauty reviews and swatches.the review she had on this particular chrome liners did  surprize me at bit as she mostly reviews high end products such as chanel, ysl, mac etc.

she scored this product a whopping "D" which is translated to "a below average product overall. I do not recommend products with this low of a score. These are products that often perform well below expectations and fail to meet the claims it makes. " or simply a failure . upon scrolling down to the comments section of the thread the very first one i saw was a comment in which a person said "these are great.. you dont like them just because they are cheap"contrary to temptalias review which sparked an awkward scenario of justification from both parties plus several other readers which gave me the urge within to express my own.. but in my blog ofcourse

i dug into my stash and found 4 of the chrome liners i had,the oldest one was the gold chrome which was 3yrs old to date and the other 3 colors were less than a year old ive used them before then kept them in my stash until forgotten. i do not really recall me being wowed by these when i first had them though i was ecstatic to own the very first pc which was the gold one. i never had a gold liner at that time and all i recalled  was thinking how it was really cool and that it was so pigmented. then so i got the rest of the 3 colors, i enjoyed all of them and i did not find anything bad or evil. just this year i have been arranging my stash and swatching them to take pics for my blog and to use up for tutorials . the ones i own still was as creamy and bendable as i remembered when i first had them, i still dint find anything wrong with them with all due respect ur honor.i think the product is underrated but temptalia had her very own formula of rating products she reviews and if i was to follow her formula here is how i would end up grading them.

Product – 60% weight

wet n wild has advertised these specifically for the color innovation, simply for it as chrome eyeliners that glides on smoothly. i find that the promise was well met and at the time of its release there were no other drugstore brand of its kind at the same retail price.making this liner one of the best innovations or something new for me to try. ill give it 9.5/10

Ease of Use – 10% weight

product is not waterproof but was never advertised as it was. i find the product lasted like any usual liner , the quality of the liners were blend-able enough without smudging for a good 6hours when worn alone- without any primers on my eyes untill it starts to fade.applying on the waterline  even after 3 years of shelving the gold liner was still creamy and did not hurt my eyes the tips of the liners did not harden even after 3 yrs too. the other 3 newer ones were more softer and was easier to apply and a breeze  ill give it 8/10

Value – 20% weight

the price was the same as any regular lipstick of wet n wild, a bargain and very very cheap if i lost any one of these i wouldnt have a hard time replacing it. ill give it  10/10

Packaging – 10% weight

one thing about the packaging is that they are colored the same as the actual liner shade so i wont need to read before i find the right liner i wanted to use even from across the room. also a jewel is embeded at the tip of the liners end which make it unique and pretty to look at when i store them upside down and the only down side is that the jewel easily falls off from the liner after a while. ill give it  7/10

final grade: 84.05% out of 100 or "B+"
